I strive to use engineering and human-centered design to help people in new, meaningful ways.

My skillset empowers me to address ambiguous problems with both desirable and technically feasible solutions. I thrive on mechanical design challenges. I use a very physical and visual design process, and I enjoy developing ideas with collaborative groups.

I have worked in spaces including residential solar, consumer products, medical devices, agricultural engineering, robotics and IoT.

My interests in anthropology, philosophy, art, architecture and history drew me to design. They influence my perspective on how we think and what things should be brought into this world.

Outside of work, I'm happiest when I'm playing guitar, planning my next dinner party or building something out of salvaged materials.
